Cookie notice

This page explains what cookies and similar storage we use on switch-routehub.digital. Personal data handling more broadly is in the privacy notice.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a site stores on your device. Similar tools include localStorage. They can remember a choice, keep a page working, or measure traffic. They are not used here for advertising auctions or cross-site tracking profiles.

Types we use

Essential. Required to remember that you have seen and answered the cookie banner, and to run basic page functions such as navigation state in the current session. The site works if you reject non-essential cookies.

Analytics (optional). Used only if you press Accept on the banner. They help us see which rooms and journal notes are read, in aggregate. Rejecting them does not block courses, forms, or policies.

Cookies table

Name Purpose Duration Provider
switch-routehub-cookie-consent Stores Accept or Reject so the banner does not return on every visit. Essential to respect your choice. Until you clear site data (localStorage) Switch Routehub (first party)
srh_session_nav Optional session flag for mobile menu state. Not used for profiling. Session Switch Routehub (first party)
srh_read_rooms Analytics: coarse counts of course and journal paths. Set only after Accept. 6 months Switch Routehub (first party)
_srh_ref Analytics: landing path for aggregated studio reporting. Set only after Accept. 30 days Switch Routehub (first party)

How to manage or disable cookies

Use Accept or Reject on the first-visit banner. Both buttons are always available; rejecting does not hide content behind a wall. To change a stored choice, clear localStorage for this site in your browser settings, then reload — the banner will appear again. You can also block or delete cookies in browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, and others each have a cookies or site-data panel).

Third-party cookies

This site loads fonts from Google Fonts and images from a public image host (Unsplash). Those requests may cause those providers to set or read their own cookies or logs according to their policies. We do not control those files. Embedded payment widgets are not present. If we later add a third-party analytics tag, it will appear in the table above and will still require Accept.

Impact of disabling

Rejecting analytics cookies or blocking all cookies in the browser does not stop you from reading courses, sending the contact form, or opening policy pages. If you block all storage, the banner may appear on every visit because we cannot remember your choice. Font or image providers may still receive a network request when the page loads those assets.
